...and after watching; I've had a thought...
Is it really okay to just go on with what I want to do?
Should I not help others in the world instead; instead of blindly stumbling into something I won't be able to help a single person in?
It's a hard question; isn't it?
The heart breaking story of Aya Ikeuchi; based on the true story of the suffering of Aya Kiito truly makes one think about life; and I highly recommend you guys on dA to watch it (Silentregrets.com is a good place to get the drama or movie; your choice.
I used to think that my world was hard enough as it was; until I discovered this. Spinocerebellar Atrophy; a disease in which the neurons in the cerebellum slowly degenerate and disappear gradually over time. The patient first has troubles with his or her legs; slowly moving to the arms; rendering the patient bound to a wheelchair. As the disease slowly progresses, speech and eating becoming harder and harder until finally, the patient is restricted to a bed.
Watching how disabled people are so cruelly treated by some; hard glances shot in their direction; harsh words spearing their hearts, makes me want to become a better person and appreciate life for what it truly is.
This might look like just some crazy rambling; but One Litre Of Tears has truly affected me, and I think if you watched it too; maybe you can learn something too.
EDIT - I just remembered to add a to do list otherwise I'll forget what the heck I'm doing on here
